Working in advertising, people always ask you if it’s like Mad Men. So I decided to ask ad folks what it’s like to get asked about that. I pitched this to Esquire leading up to the series six premiere of the show. The article I wrote and edited had real ad professionals weigh in on how their jobs hold up to their 1960s counterparts. I probably shouldn’t have to say this, but I’ll say it anyway. Spoilers ahead.
